The Story

In 2020, Steven David Michael, Sand Publishing Co's founder and primary author, was called to fully commit himself to the Lord. He surrendered to Christ, a man who had strayed from the path and gotten lost in the wilderness of life. His heart and soul accepted the embrace of his rescuer, someone familiar whom he had long forgotten. Like a weary traveler rediscovering true north, he was rediscovering Christ. He was awed by it and clutched this grace and mercy for a fallen believer tightly to his soul—a believer who had been snared by the world and led away from the path. The conviction of that belief was so profound, so overwhelming, that his hand began to scribble, to compose seemingly endless lines of poetry. A passion and fury set upon him unlike any he had ever known. Seemingly from nowhere, the words poured from him. Taking shape naturally, as if by its own power, these beautiful sentiments and rhythmic lines began to fill the pages of the books he's written.
